Not your typical CSA.
This innovative CSLA's goal is designed to have multiple beneficiaries.
-
Local Farmers
-
Community Garden Farmers
-
Organizations working to build a new local food system
-
Educators that provide garden education for the community and kids preK-12
-
Community members in need of access to healthy, fresh, local food
Choose from two pick up locations:
-
Sundays, 10-2:30 pm at Mount Kisco Farmer's Market
-
Wednesdays, 4-6 pm at D.I.G. Farm
How does it work?
Patrons will be able to support our goals by purchasing a share of produce while donating an equivalent share to those in the community in need.
This unique CSLA will allow you to customize your share to your heart's desire! You decide what vegetables you want by choosing from our WLFP farms' collaboration.
How we are changing the game
Meal distribution programs for those in need depend on highly processed factory food.
In these food banks, we are reclaiming shelf space for real food that is grown locally and supported by the community.
