Welcome
Welcome to Westchester Local Food Project's (WLPF) new headquarters at Buxton Pond Farm - a historic farmland in Bedford that dates back to 1790.
Our new home is where we envision a future where the community is empowered and educated in building a new local, sustainable, and equitable food system. At WLPF, we believe in the transformative power of education and regenerative agriculture, and our new headquarters at Buxton Pond Farm is the perfect place to make our vision a reality.
Our mission is to collaborate with organizations, schools, and the community at large, embedding education at every step of the way. By encouraging volunteerism, participation, and engagement through educational events, we aim to create a new thriving and equitable local food system for the benefit of all in Westchester, NY.
Join us at Buxton Pond Farm, where we will farm as a community, learn together, and create a better future for ourselves and future generations.
Westchester Local Food Project is a DBA of D.I.G. Farm, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to promoting sustainable agriculture and providing access to fresh, healthy, and locally grown food to the Westchester community
